Kush Maini to Test Alpine F1 Car in Abu Dhabi
Kush Maini, a young Indian race car driver, is very excited because he will get to drive a real Formula 1 car for the first time.
This will happen in Abu Dhabi, right after the big race that decides the 2025 world champion.
Kush has been driving in a lower race series called Formula 2 and has been practicing with the Alpine team.
He hopes this test will help him become the third Indian to ever race in Formula 1.
He will share the track with other drivers, including Pierre Gasly, who is already racing for Alpine.

Kush Maini will test the current Alpine F1 car in the Young Driver Test at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Maini, a 25-year-old from Bengaluru, has previously driven in the team's Testing Previous Cars (TPC) programme and simulator as part of the Alpine Academy.
He aims to become the third Indian to compete in Formula 1 after Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok.
Maini is currently 16th in the Formula 2 drivers' standings with 26 points.
