J&K Crime Branch Chargesheets Two in Srinagar Land Fraud

The Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch investigated a complaint about land fraud in Srinagar.

Investigators said a man and a former government land official allegedly worked together.

They allegedly used false papers to try to take land.

They also allegedly used those papers to get building permission.

The land is identified as Khasra No.

642.

The former Patwari has died.

The Crime Branch filed a chargesheet in court against the named accused.

The court will now decide the case, and filing charges does not itself establish guilt.
