Karnataka Cabinet to Discuss SC Reservation Report August 16
Karnataka's government is looking at a report about how to divide benefits among Scheduled Castes, or SCs.
This report comes from the Nagamohan Das Commission and includes a lot of data about these groups.
The report was given to the cabinet, and they will talk about it on August 16.
The goal is to decide how to split up the 17% of the government jobs and education spots currently saved for SCs.
The Supreme Court has said states can do this, and the report suggests different groups get different amounts.
