Cracks on Delhi's Outer Ring Road Cause Traffic Jam
On Monday evening, big cracks appeared on a road in Delhi near a metro station.
These cracks were caused by work being done for a tunnel.
The cracks were so big that they caused a lot of traffic.
People put plants in the cracks to warn other drivers.
The traffic police and other officials were told about the problem.
They fixed the road, and the traffic went back to normal after about five hours.
This is not the first time something like this has happened.
In September, a part of another road in Delhi caved in because of too much water from heavy rain.
Cracks appeared on Delhi's Outer Ring Road near Badli Mor metro station on Monday evening, causing a heavy traffic jam.
The cracks were due to ongoing tunnel work near the metro station.
Videos showed a long crack snaking along the road, with plants placed inside to alert traffic.
The issue was reported to the traffic police and Public Works Department officials, who repaired the road.
Normal traffic resumed after almost five hours.
