Telangana Assembly Session Heats Up

Telangana Assembly Session Heats Up

The winter session of the Telangana Assembly is starting on December 28 and is expected to be very heated.

The ruling Congress party and the opposition BRS and BJP are ready to argue about important issues.

They will discuss the delay in completing the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Project, a shortage of urea, the poor condition of residential schools, and the increasing crime rate in Hyderabad.

The Congress government plans to show how the previous BRS government neglected the Palamuru project and did not use the Krishna river water fairly.

The BRS will be led by T Harish Rao, who wants to present his own views on the irrigation projects.

The opposition will also demand details about investments made during the recent Global Summit and the delay in giving benefits to farmers.

The government might introduce new bills, including merging some municipalities with the GHMC and changing some laws related to local governments.
