Bihar Establishes Prakrit and Pali Academies
The Bihar government is creating two new academies to help save and promote the ancient languages of Prakrit and Pali.
These academies will be overseen by the new Department of Higher Education.
The state government also approved the creation of three new departments: Youth, Employment and Skill Development, Higher Education, and Civil Aviation.
The Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, has kept the Civil Aviation Department for himself, while other portfolios have been allocated to different ministers.
The government aims to provide jobs to one crore youth over the next five years and improve the quality of higher education.
