Google Play Store Allows Higher App Prices, Up to Rs 4 Lakh
Google is letting app makers on the Play Store charge more money for their apps, up to about Rs 4 lakh!
But not everyone can do it.
Only developers who have a good track record, follow the rules, and have made over a million dollars in the past year can request to raise their prices.
This also includes things you buy inside an app, like extra tools.
This change doesn't apply in South Korea due to regulations.
This helps big or high-end app makers.
Google Play Store allows developers to charge up to $4,999.99 for apps and subscriptions, approximately Rs 4 lakh.
This is a significant increase from the previous limit of $999.99.
Developers must meet specific criteria to qualify for the higher price limit.
Eligibility requires a good standing Google Play account, policy compliance, and over $1 million in revenue in the past year.
The new pricing applies to apps, in-app purchases, and subscriptions, but not in South Korea.
