Nintendo Switch 2 Confirms Accessibility Features and VRR Limitations
The new Nintendo Switch 2 will have some cool features to help everyone play.
It will have a text-to-speech feature, so you can type messages and the game will read them out loud.
It will also display captions of what other players are saying.
However, the screen will only adjust its refresh rate for smoother visuals when you're holding it, not when it's plugged into your TV.
The new console is coming out soon and will cost a little more than previous models.
Nintendo Switch 2 will feature text-to-speech functionality and live captions for in-game communication.
Text-to-speech will allow players to type messages that the system will read aloud.
Live captions will display transcriptions of in-game chat.
Variable refresh rate (VRR) is supported in handheld mode only.
The Switch 2 is launching June 5, priced at $449.99 in the US, with expected sales of 15 million units.
