Political optics and discipline issues in Congress and AAP
This week, there were some awkward moments in Indian politics.
Charanjit Singh Channi, a former Punjab Chief Minister, was seen waiting awkwardly for attention from Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra outside Parliament.
This happened after he disagreed with Rahul Gandhi over a party decision.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) faced criticism for a police action in Barnala where workers were beaten.
AAP leader Manish Sisodia also faced tough questions from young protesters at Jantar Mantar.
Inside the Congress party, leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was reminded about party discipline by Bhupesh Baghel.
These incidents show the challenges political parties face in managing internal unity and public image.
