Complaint Seeks ED Probe Into Alleged KPSC Recruitment Corruption

A complaint has asked the Directorate of Enforcement to investigate alleged cheating in government job examinations in Karnataka.

The examinations were conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission.

The complaint says some people may have taken bribes to help selected candidates.

It also alleges that question papers and answer sheets were changed.

The allegations involve 384 Gazetted Probationer jobs and other recruitments.

The complaint says the suspected illegal money could be worth more than Rs 1,000 crore.

It asks investigators to find and freeze property bought with that money.

The allegations have led to the suspension of a KPSC chairman and the arrest of a former examination controller.
