Sanpada Businessman Allegedly Cheated Of ₹10.16 Lakh In Fraud
A businessman in Sanpada sells housekeeping products.
Three men allegedly ordered a large amount of goods from him.
They first paid for a small order, which made the businessman trust them.
They then received products worth ₹10.16 lakh.
They allegedly gave cheques that did not clear when deposited.
When the businessman checked the warehouse, it was empty.
Police say the men may have used false business details and identities.
The police are searching for them and trying to recover the money.
Sanpada police registered a case after a businessman allegedly lost ₹10.16 lakh in housekeeping products.
The accused allegedly built trust by paying for an initial order worth ₹45,748.
Four larger consignments were delivered to a warehouse in Kalher, Bhiwandi, during April 2026.
Three post-dated cheques issued for the larger order were allegedly dishonoured in May.
Police are verifying the firms, GST details and bank accounts while searching for the accused.
