Pune Awarded 2032 UCI Road Cycling Championships
Pune, a city in India, will host the 2032 UCI Cycling Road World Championships.
It will be the first time the competition is held in India.
Cycling’s international organization announced the decision at a meeting in Montreal.
Pune recently held the Pune Grand Tour.
The race covered 437 kilometres in four stages.
About 170 cyclists from 35 countries took part.
New Zealand’s Luke Mudgway won the race.
The UCI also selected Groningen and Drenthe in the Netherlands to host the 2034 championships.

Pune defeated Groningen and Drenthe in the bidding process; the Dutch locations will host the 2034 championships.
