BEST Revives Plan for 150 Electric Double-Decker Buses

The BEST (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport) in Mumbai is trying to get 150 electric double-decker buses after a three-year delay.

They already have 50 of these buses, but the rest were stuck because of some problems with the contract.

Now, they are going to ask for a small increase in the payment they make for each kilometer the buses travel.

If this is approved, they can finally get the remaining buses.

These buses are good for the environment because they don't pollute the air, and they can carry more people.

This will help Mumbai have better public transport and reduce the need for diesel buses.
