Central Railway Cracks Down on AI-Generated Fake Tickets
Central Railway in Mumbai found three people using fake train tickets made by AI.
They were caught because all three tickets had the same number, which shouldn't happen with real tickets.
Using fake tickets is a big problem and can lead to a fine or even jail time.
The railway wants everyone to use real tickets bought the right way.
They are very serious about stopping this kind of cheating.
Central Railway detected three passengers using AI-generated fake UTS season tickets on Mumbai’s AC local trains.
The first case was detected on November 26, and the second on November 28.
Passengers were caught because their tickets had the same UTS number, which is not possible for genuine tickets.
Travelling with fake tickets can result in a fine of up to Rs 1,000 and imprisonment of up to seven years.
