Kangana Ranaut and Baba Ramdev Clash Over “Generation Gutter”
Kangana Ranaut criticized protesters at Jantar Mantar by calling them “Generation Gutter.”
Many people, including Baba Ramdev, objected to those words.
Ramdev then made comments about Ranaut, and the disagreement became personal.
Ranaut said he had behaved indecently and should not give her lessons about her character.
She also mentioned legal action involving Patanjali’s advertising claims.
In 2024, Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna apologized in newspapers over the issue.
Ramdev replied that people know his work and contributions.
The argument is now about personal conduct and past controversies, not just Ranaut’s original phrase.
Kangana Ranaut’s “Generation Gutter” description of Jantar Mantar protesters triggered widespread criticism.
Baba Ramdev objected to Ranaut’s remarks, leading to an increasingly personal public exchange.
Ranaut accused Ramdev of crossing “every boundary of decency” and rejected his character criticism.
She also cited Patanjali Ayurved’s legal troubles over misleading advertising claims.
Ramdev responded that the public knows his contributions and said he did not want to comment further on people of such stature.
