Zuckerberg's AI Vision: Open Superintelligence for Everyone, Less Regulation

Mark Zuckerberg, the boss of a big technology company called Meta, wrote a very long essay about the future of artificial intelligence, or AI.

He believes AI should not belong to just a few rich companies, but should be shared with everyone.

His company made a new AI helper called Muse Glimmer that can run on regular computers people own.

Zuckerberg wants governments not to make too many rules about AI, because he worries rules could slow down American companies.

He also thinks the United States should stay ahead of China in building smart computers and supports stopping powerful computer chips from going to China.

In the future, he imagines every person having a special AI helper that knows what they like and can help them on their phone, computer, or glasses.

He says AI will take over some jobs, but it can also help people learn new skills.

Building all this needs very big computer buildings called datacentres, and Meta wants to help the towns near them, like teachers in Louisiana who got big bonuses.

Zuckerberg says making AI open to everyone is a question of power, not just technology.
