Blinkit fined Rs 1 lakh in Noida for waste violations

Blinkit, a company that delivers groceries and food, was fined Rs 1 lakh in Noida.

The fine was given because they were not following the rules for managing waste properly.

Officials found that garbage was being dumped and burnt on a public road.

This is not allowed under the Solid Waste Management Rules.

The Noida Authority also seized some single-use plastic items, which are banned in Noida.

Earlier, Blinkit was fined Rs 5 lakh for similar violations.

The company has been told to follow the rules strictly, or they might face more penalties.
