BMC Demolishes Unauthorised Structures at Lower Parel Business
The Mumbai civic body, the BMC, is taking down parts of a business building in Lower Parel because they were built without permission.
The building owners didn't follow the rules about how much space they could use.
The BMC found several unauthorized structures during an inspection.
They've already taken down one illegal part and are working on demolishing two more.
These illegal constructions include extra space added to the building.
This action is part of an ongoing effort to make sure buildings follow the rules.
BMC is demolishing unauthorized structures at Benefice Business House.
The demolition is due to violations of Floor Space Index (FSI) regulations.
One illegal structure at Unit 1C was demolished.
Demolition is ongoing at Units 3A, 4A, 3C, and 4C.
The illegal constructions included additional square meters on the eastern floor and at various units.
