Australia Reports First Mass Seabird Deaths from H5N1

Scientists found a big group of seabirds that were sick or dead near Cape Jaffa in South Australia.

They tested the birds and discovered they had a virus called H5N1, which is a type of bird flu.

This is the first time Australia has seen many birds die from this virus.

The government says the virus hasn't been found in farms yet, but they are keeping a close eye on it.

They warn that more wildlife could get sick if the virus spreads.
