Mahindra Advances Nagpur Plant With First 800 Acres

Mahindra is planning a very large factory in Nagpur.

The company has reserved 1,500 acres of land and is moving toward receiving the first 800 acres.

The factory will make cars, other automobiles, and tractors.

It is expected to produce more than 600,000 vehicles and tractors each year when fully operational.

The plant will be designed for petrol or diesel engines, electric vehicles, and newer types of power systems.

Mahindra has not yet said which models will be built there.

It also plans a supplier park in Sambhajinagar and a training centre in Nagpur.

The training centre will teach skills such as machine work, welding, and painting.
