ITR Filing Deadline Extension Likely Amidst Tech Issues, Festivals
People in India need to file their Income Tax Returns (ITR) by September 15, but some are asking for more time.
The Rajasthan Tax Consultant’s Association (RTCA) says the deadline should be pushed back because of problems with the online system and because a lot of important holidays are happening during this time.
The tax professionals also say that the delayed release of forms and new reporting formats are causing problems.
They have requested an extension to November 15th.
