AIFF Faces Challenges Despite Supreme Court Verdict
The Supreme Court approved the AIFF's new rules.
This is good news for Indian football, but the AIFF still has work to do.
They need to find a company to invest in the league because they can no longer give full rights to a single private group.
They will also need to quickly prepare the Senior Most Top Division League and arrange many matches, and they may merge ISL and I-League to deal with any cost for new partners.
The AIFF president believes the league will be successful.
Supreme Court approved the AIFF draft constitution.
The current executive committee, led by Kalyan Chaubey, can complete its term.
AIFF must find a new commercial partner.
AIFF has selected KPMG India to manage the commercial rights.
The Senior Most Top Division League is expected to start after December 15.
