Australia's Next Women's Cricket Captain After Healy

Alyssa Healy, a very successful cricket player for Australia, has decided to retire after the next series against India.

This means Australia needs a new captain for their team.

Two main players, Tahlia McGrath and Ashleigh Gardner, are being considered for the job.

McGrath has already captained the team 15 times, while Gardner has been praised for her leadership.

Two younger players, Annabel Sutherland and Phoebe Litchfield, are also seen as future leaders.

Healy has won eight World Cup titles and is one of the best players ever.

The new captain will lead the team in the 2026 T20 World Cup.
