Hyderabad Residents Complain of Dirty Drinking Water, Unresponsive Water Board
People in certain areas of Hyderabad, especially in the Old City, are upset because their drinking water has been dirty for over a month.
It looks polluted, and some people have even gotten sick.
They've complained to the water board, but nothing has been fixed yet.
The water sometimes looks black or smells like chemicals.
Because of this, people are buying water instead.
A politician has also spoken up about the problem, and the water board says they're working on it.
Residents in multiple areas of Hyderabad are receiving contaminated drinking water.
Complaints to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) have been largely unaddressed.
Contaminated water has led to reports of waterborne diseases.
