Bihar Polls Phase-I: Election Commission Finds No Grounds for Re-polls
After the first part of the Bihar election, election officials carefully checked all the voting records from every voting place.
They looked at lists of who voted and other papers from the day of the election.
Representatives from the political parties and special observers watched this checking process.
Everything was recorded on video to make sure it was fair.
The election officials decided that everything was done correctly and there were no big problems.
Because of this, they announced that there's no need to vote again in any of those places for this first part of the election.
The documents were then sealed up again safely.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced no re-polls are needed for Phase-I of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025.
A thorough post-poll scrutiny of Form 17A and poll-day documents was conducted across 121 Assembly Constituencies.
The scrutiny process involved Returning Officers, General Observers, and participation from candidates or their agents.
The entire process was video-graphed to ensure transparency and accountability.
No discrepancies or malpractices were found, leading the ECI to conclude that re-polls are unnecessary.
