Land Handed Over for Warangal’s Mamnoor Airport Project

Telangana has finished buying the land needed for Mamnoor airport in Warangal.

The government spent Rs 295 crore on the land acquisition.

The land has now been given to the Airports Authority of India.

This means work on the airport project can move forward.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy asked people to suggest a new name for the airport.

The airport project had been pending for several years.

Leaders expect it to make travel to the Warangal region easier.

They also expect it to help businesses, tourism, education and jobs.
