Fadnavis Seeks Zero-Human-Intervention Building Approvals at BMC

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spoke about making some city services work better online.

He hopes that one day the BMC can approve building plans without people having to handle each file.

He said this could make it easier to do business.

He also praised a new digital platform called Participate Mumbai.

It is meant to connect people and organisations with volunteer work and corporate support for community projects.

The BMC is also using artificial intelligence to help with redevelopment processes.

Fadnavis said the government identified 47 services that people use often.

He said about 90% of citizens come to the administration for these services.
