Iran Sends Seven Conditions as US Signals Readiness for Negotiations

Iran says it has given the United States seven conditions for ending the war.

Qatar and Pakistan reportedly carried Washington’s message that it may be ready to negotiate.

Iran wants fighting to stop on all fronts, including fighting involving Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthis.

It also wants frozen assets released and a naval blockade of its ports ended.

Iran says the United States must provide trustworthy promises that it will not attack again.

If those steps happen, Iran says it will discuss its nuclear program and sanctions.

The two countries previously reached a deal, but both sides later said the other had failed to keep its promises.

Iranian officials are still waiting for President Donald Trump’s response while warning that another US strike remains possible.
