Axis Bank Adds Separate UPI Limits for Payment Categories
Axis Bank has added a way to control UPI payment limits more precisely.
Customers can choose different limits for payments to people, Indian businesses and eligible businesses abroad.
This means one type of payment can have a higher limit than another.
Customers can change these limits in the Axis Mobile Banking App.
They need to confirm changes with an MPIN and an OTP.
The new limits work across all UPI apps connected to their Axis Bank account.
Smaller limits may help reduce the impact of accidental or unauthorised payments.
Axis Bank says the feature is part of its Safe Banking approach.
