Nashik Municipal Corporation Issues Show-Cause Notices to 13 Engineers
In a city called Nashik, there are big holes in some roads called potholes.
Potholes can be dangerous for cars and people.
The city asked some engineers to fix the roads, but the city says they did not act quickly enough.
So the city's top official sent letters to 13 of these engineers.
The letters ask them to explain why they did not fix the potholes.
The engineers have seven days to give their explanation.
If they do not answer, the city will tell the state government about it.
Some accidents have happened because of the bad roads, and sadly six people have died.
The city wants the roads fixed so everyone can be safe.
The Nashik Municipal Corporation Commissioner issued show-cause notices to 13 municipal engineers for allegedly failing to take timely action against potholes on city roads.
The notices were served to five executive engineers and eight deputy engineers.
The engineers have been directed to submit their explanations within seven days.
