Aster DM Quality Care Q1 Profit Slumps 81 Per Cent To ₹16 Crore Despite Strong Revenue Growth · freepressjournal.in

Aster DM Quality Care is a big company that runs hospitals and takes care of sick people.

The company just told everyone how much money it made in the first three months of the year, called Q1.

Many more patients visited its hospitals, and the money it collected from them went up by over a fifth.

Even so, the profit it kept went down by about 81 percent compared with last year.

Profit is what is left after a company pays for everything it needs, and this time much less was left over.

The company became much bigger when two hospital groups, Aster DM Healthcare and Quality Care India, joined into one.

The joined company served nearly two million patients in just three months.

Together, the two groups made more money than they did last year, and the boss, Varun Khanna, called the merger a big milestone.

The company says it will keep working on uniting its hospitals and caring for patients better.
