UP to Grant Land Ownership to Bangladeshi Refugee Families
Imagine families who came from another country a long time ago, and were given land to live and farm on.
For many years, they didn't officially own the land, which meant they couldn't get some of the help the government offers.
Now, the government has decided to give these families the legal right to own their land.
This is happening in Pilibhit, where about 2,196 families will finally get ownership documents.
They have been waiting for over 60 years.
The government made this decision after a meeting, and now they are working on the paperwork to make it official.
