Lokesh Challenges Jagan to Debate on Mega DSC 2025
In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, a minister named Nara Lokesh is talking about hiring new teachers.
His government hired 16,347 teachers in just 148 days, which is very fast.
Some people from the opposition party, led by a leader named Jagan, said the hiring was not fair.
They said there might have been a paper leak and other problems.
Lokesh says all the rules were followed and the process was open and honest.
He challenged Jagan to a debate so they could talk about it face to face.
Lokesh also said the old government did not hire any teachers for five years.
Because of that, many students left government schools.
Now, the government wants to hire teachers every single year.
Lokesh wants every school to have a teacher so children can learn well.
Andhra Pradesh HRD & IT Minister Nara Lokesh challenged YSRCP chief Jagan to a debate on the Mega DSC 2025 teacher recruitment, saying 'Fix the date and time. I am ready.'
The NDA government filled 16,347 teacher posts in 148 days, which Lokesh called the fastest DSC recruitment in the country.
Lokesh denied paper leak and transparency allegations, saying 42,000 questions were prepared by SCERT subject experts and exams ran on the TCS iON platform.
He said the YSRC government conducted no DSC between 2019 and 2024, while around 12 lakh students moved from government to private schools.
The government plans to conduct DSC every year, with another notification for around 3,000 teacher posts to be issued this year.
