FBI Co-Deputy Director Andrew Bailey Resigns After Reassignments

Andrew Bailey was one of the FBI’s two deputy directors.

He resigned after serving in the role for a short time.

His resignation was announced on September 28 and will take effect on October 2.

The article says the move was an internal personnel decision.

Bailey left three days after two senior counterterrorism supervisors were reassigned.

Those supervisors had worked on an investigation involving alleged harassing calls to Katie Miller.

Bailey said he believed FBI Director Kash Patel would continue changing the agency and fighting crime.

Christopher Raia will remain the other person who had shared the deputy director duties.
