Fuel prices steady in India on July 25

On July 25, petrol and diesel prices in India stayed the same as the previous day.

The price of Brent crude oil, which is used to make petrol and diesel, went up to $100.69 per barrel because of tensions in Iran.

This is lower than the highest price in April, which was over $120 per barrel.

In Delhi, petrol costs ₹102.12 per litre, and diesel is ₹95.20 per litre.

In Mumbai, petrol is ₹111.21 per litre, and diesel is ₹97.83 per litre.

Other big cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai also have different prices for petrol and diesel.

The government says taxes on fuel help pay for important services, but many people think the taxes are too high.
