Second Phase of GP Polls Tomorrow
Tomorrow, people in Hyderabad will vote for the second phase of gram panchayat elections.
They will choose leaders for 4,332 sarpanch posts and many ward officer positions.
Many candidates are running, and voting will happen from 7 am to 1 pm.
The first phase of elections already happened, and results were announced.
After tomorrow's voting, results will be shared, and elections for deputy sarpanches will also take place the same evening.
In Nagar Kurnool, medical camps are being set up to help the people working in the elections.
These camps will give first aid and medicines to the election staff.
The camps are in places like Thimmajipet, Bijinapalli, and Nagar Kurnool.
The doctor in charge, Dr. K. Ravikumar, checked the camps to make sure everything is good.
The camps will also be there on Sunday when the election materials are given out.
There are also plans to have first aid camps at the polling stations on the day of the elections.
Second phase of gram panchayat elections for 4,332 sarpanch posts to be held on December 14.
13,128 candidates are contesting for sarpanch posts, and 78,158 candidates for 29,903 ward officer posts.
Polling will take place from 7 am to 1 pm on Sunday.
Results will be announced the same evening, followed by elections for deputy sarpanch.
