IMT Hyderabad Sees Rising Demand for Logistics Professionals
IMT Hyderabad has a special program with the CII Institute of Logistics to teach people about logistics and supply chain management.
The first group of students will finish in April 2026.
Many companies want to hire these students because the logistics industry is growing fast.
The program is special because most of the teaching is done by people who work in the industry, not just professors.
This helps students learn things that are actually useful in real jobs.
The industry needs a lot more people to work in logistics, and this program is helping to prepare them.
IMT Hyderabad's PGDM in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, in collaboration with CII, is gaining traction due to rising demand for logistics professionals.
The first batch of students will graduate in April 2026, with high placement success rates and industry involvement in the curriculum.
About 70% of the curriculum is delivered by CII and industry experts, providing practical insights and real-world relevance.
The logistics industry in India is expected to grow at a CAGR of 10.7% till 2026, requiring between 1.5 to 1.70 crore professionals by 2030.
The program has achieved 100% successful internship placements, with one-third of the batch already placed in final roles.
