Tamil Nadu Passes Resolutions Against FCRA Bill, NEET, Delimitation

In India, there is a central government and many state governments.

The southern state of Tamil Nadu has a new leader named Vijay, who used to act in movies and now runs the state's government.

Vijay and his team do not agree with some plans from the central government, which is led by the BJP party.

A new law called the FCRA Amendment Bill is about money that groups in India receive from foreign countries.

Tamil Nadu worries this law could let the central government take over schools, hospitals, and charity buildings that used some foreign money.

To show they do not like it, Tamil Nadu's leaders passed a resolution, which is like an official request, asking the central government to remove the bill.

Leaders from Christian and Muslim groups also met with Vijay to talk about these worries.

Tamil Nadu also asked to remove the NEET exam for medical school admissions, saying it costs too much money and causes stress for families.

The central government agreed to send the bill to a joint parliamentary committee for more study because many people opposed it.
