Vishwas Patil Elected President of Marathi Literary Meet

Vishwas Patil, author of 'Panipat', has been elected president of the 99th All India Marathi Literary Meet.

This big event will be held in Satara from January 1 to 4, 2026.

The event, organized by the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad and Mavala Foundation, will include a book procession, poetry sessions, and discussions.

For the first time, past presidents and award winners will be invited.

This is the fourth time Satara has hosted this meet, the last time being in 1993, and will be held at Chhatrapati Shahunagar Stadium.
