India's Coal Production Jumps, Driven by Efficiency
India produced more coal from April to August.
Nearly 74 million tonnes were mined, almost 12% more than the same time last year.
The increase shows that mines are working better, and the government helped by making things easier.
Dispatches, which is how much coal was sent out, also went up by over 9%.
The government is working to keep up the growth and make sure the country has enough energy.
