Uniper, AM Green sign renewable ammonia deal
Uniper and AM Green Ammonia India have made a big deal to work together.
Uniper will buy up to 500,000 tonnes of special green ammonia from AM Green every year.
This ammonia is made in a way that's good for the environment.
The first shipment will happen in 2028 from a new plant in India.
This deal is important because it helps companies use cleaner energy and reduce pollution.
It's also a big step for India in the global effort to use more renewable energy.
The agreement was signed in front of important leaders from Germany and India.
The plant is being built with help from several companies and is part of India's plan to become a leader in green hydrogen.
This deal is one of many steps India and Germany are taking to work more closely together in areas like technology, defence, and trade.
Uniper and AM Green Ammonia India signed a long-term agreement for renewable ammonia.
Uniper will offtake up to 500,000 tonnes per year from AM Green's projects.
First shipment expected in 2028 from a plant in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
