Aadhaar e-KYC Required for Subsidized 14.2-kg LPG Refills
People who buy regular household cooking-gas cylinders must now verify their Aadhaar details.
This rule applies to the usual 14.2-kg cylinder sold at a regulated price.
People who have already completed verification can continue ordering normally.
People who have not done it cannot order that cylinder at the fixed price.
They can instead buy smaller 5-kg or 10-kg cylinders at market prices, if available.
