Karnataka caste survey report expected by February 10
The Karnataka government is working on a report from a survey they did last year in September and October.
The survey was about understanding different communities in the state.
The minister, Shivaraj Tangadagi, said the report will be ready by the end of January or February 10.
This report will help the government know which communities are most in need and make sure they get the help they need.
Right now, there isn't good data on how many people are in each community, so this report will give clear facts.
Karnataka Backward Classes Welfare Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi announced the expected submission of the Social and Educational Survey report by the end of January or February 10, 2024.
The survey was conducted by the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes in September and October 2023.
The report aims to identify the most marginalised sections in society and ensure government benefits reach them.
Currently, there is no accurate data on the population numbers of specific communities in Karnataka.
The survey report will provide factual clarity and help in better planning and implementation of government schemes.
