Adult tiger found dead in Kaziranga
A dead adult female tiger was found in Kaziranga National Park in Assam.
The guards who walk around the park found the tiger's body on Sunday evening in an area called Kathpora.
The park is a special place for tigers, and this news is important because it tells us about the tigers living there.
The tiger died because of a fight with other animals.
The park officials are following special rules to take care of the tiger's body.
The carcass of an adult female tiger was found in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) in Assam.
The discovery was made on Sunday evening in the Kathpora area of the western range of Bagori by patrolling forest guards.
A committee was constituted to carry out a post-mortem examination and oversee the disposal of the carcass as per NTCA guidelines.
Preliminary autopsy findings suggest that the tiger's death was caused by infighting among animals.
Park officials will follow NTCA norms as part of standard protocol in cases of wildlife mortality within protected reserves.
