Amit Shah: Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan Unlikely Restored
India will not restore the water agreement with Pakistan because it believes Pakistan has not followed the rules.
Instead, India will redirect water to its own state, Rajasthan.
This decision comes after a recent terror attack in Kashmir, which India sees as an attempt to create unrest.
India also warns it will respond to any future attacks.
Amit Shah stated the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan will not be restored.
India has suspended the treaty due to Pakistan's violations.
Water previously flowing to Pakistan will be redirected to Rajasthan.
The decision followed the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Shah accused Pakistan of attempting to sabotage peace in Kashmir.
