Raveena Taurani wanted to be a movie actor.

She started trying when she was 20 years old.

For nearly six years, she went to auditions but things did not work out.

When she was about 23, she hurt her back while doing a stunt at an audition for a dance film.

She was then replaced by a more famous actor.

To heal, she went to Goa and did lots of yoga.

She also got sick with stomach infections and found that giving up dairy products made her feel better.

She learned to cook plant-based food and took a class in Bali to become a vegan chef.

She began selling food from her home and soon had 100 customers.

In 2021, she opened her own cafe called Yogisattva Cafe in Bandra.

Today she says her injury was the best thing that happened to her because it gave her a new life.
