Annamalai Criticizes Appavu Over 'Terrorist' Remarks on Ravi
K. Annamalai, a BJP leader, is very upset with M. Appavu, the Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
Appavu called the state's governor, R. N. Ravi, a 'terrorist' because Ravi talked about the increase in terrorist activities in Tamil Nadu.
Annamalai thinks Appavu is wrong and has forgotten about serious incidents like the 2022 Coimbatore suicide bombing and attacks on BJP offices by PFI members.
He also mentioned that a terrorist named Basha, who was involved in the 1998 Coimbatore bombing, was given a big funeral with police security.
Appavu, however, says that Ravi is the only terrorist in the state and that there are no terrorism or law and order issues in Tamil Nadu.
BJP leader K. Annamalai criticized Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Speaker M. Appavu for calling Governor R. N. Ravi a 'terrorist'.
Annamalai highlighted the 2022 Coimbatore suicide bombing and attacks on BJP offices by PFI members as evidence of rising terrorism in Tamil Nadu.
He also mentioned the NIA's crackdowns on terror modules in the state and the funeral of terrorist Basha with police security.
Appavu responded by stating that R. N. Ravi is the only terrorist in the state and that there are no terrorism or law and order issues in Tamil Nadu.
Annamalai's remarks come in response to Appavu's comments dismissing the governor's concerns about law and order and terrorism in the state.
