Toyota Innova Hycross Flex-Fuel Model Set for October Launch
Nitin Gadkari said a new Toyota Innova Hycross will launch in October.
It is designed to run entirely on ethanol instead of petrol.
Ethanol is a fuel made from plant-based sources.
The vehicle can also generate electricity while it is being driven.
Toyota first showed this vehicle in 2023.
Gadkari believes cleaner fuels can reduce pollution and India’s need to import fuel.
