Delhi University Allows Merit Admissions at 11 Colleges
Delhi University usually uses CUET scores to admit students to undergraduate courses.
This year, 11 colleges may also use Class 12 marks for some programmes.
This option is available because some seats stayed empty after several CUET admission rounds.
Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College can hold these admissions in person.
Students still need to meet the rules for their chosen course and college.
The new option does not replace CUET admissions.
Students eligible for regular counselling can continue applying through the Common Seat Allocation System.
Applications for Spot Round 1 are expected to begin on August 23, and results are scheduled for August 25.
Delhi University has permitted 11 affiliated colleges to admit students to selected undergraduate programmes using Class 12 marks.
The merit-based option applies where seats remained vacant after multiple rounds of CUET-based admissions.
CUET remains the primary basis for undergraduate admissions across Delhi University and its affiliated colleges.
Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College may conduct merit-based admissions in physical mode.
CSAS UG Spot Round 1 applications are scheduled to open on August 23, with seat allotment results due August 25.
