Tata Power Expands EV Charging Network Across Mumbai And Maharashtra

Tata Power is adding more places for electric cars to recharge.

It now has more than 1,800 charging points in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Maharashtra has more than 2,400 points in total.

A large new charger is located near Mumbai airport.

It has 16 charging guns and can charge 16 vehicles at once.

The chargers are meant for private cars, taxis, and other fleets.

Ten special charging hubs have handled more than 70,000 charging sessions.

Tata Power says these hubs helped electric vehicles travel more than 75 lakh kilometres and avoid about 6,690 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
